Streamside Solutions prides itself with the ability to create and deliver graphics that have minimal binding errors and full point coverage. How can we do this reliably? Automated tools.
Streamside Solutions has created a comprehensive binding, database analysis, reporting, and validation toolset for both Johnson Controls Standard and Advanced Graphics. Every project is validated and verified for the following:
- Invalid bindings
- Duplicate bindings
- Blank References
- Invalid Links found in Aliased Graphics
- Every link to aliased graphics and the aliased points are followed and validated as well
In addition, a wealth of information is created during the validation process. This information is fed back into our binding tools so that we know exactly what points have been bound in a particular system. We can report on the following:
- Bound Points
- Unbound Points (Sample)
- Points bound in a particular graphic (Sample)
- Validation Report (Sample)
Why is graphic validation important? It puts the final step in what is a very detailed oriented process. Without it, you really don't know how well your graphics were built. It is an absolute requirement if you are building Advanced Graphics since the binding process and symbol design is a very error-prone process.
Give us a call if you are unsure about the integrity of your graphics. We will run the validation for FREE!
Benefits
- Graphic service providers can save wasted time and embarrassment fixing binding errors at the job site or after the graphics are installed.
- Graphic end users can achieve 'piece of mind' that the graphics provided are correctly bound based on the latest SCT database.
- Reduce or eliminate on site verification.
- Eliminate finger pointing when graphics are developed prior to finished SCT database and the database was changed after the graphics were installed. The reports will point to all changed or deleted points and all unbound points.
Items needed for verification
- Backup file of the SCT database
- For advanced graphics, the visio source files are needed.
