NetTree

NetTree is a stand-alone windows application that allows navigation of M-Graphics based on the Metasys network map.

Currently, if a customer uses the PMI network map and component binder to open M-Graphics, a separate instance (window) of the graphic is opened every time.  NetTree displays a tree view of the same network map structure.  When the system or group is double-clicked, the graphic is opened in the same window.  If a graphic is not defined for a group or system, then the PMI text summary will be shown instead.

NetTree can be configured to be visible at all times allowing easy navigation through your Metasys system graphics.  Right-clicking on an item allows you to show as text, show as graphic, show as graphic in configure mode, and debug graphic (set all tooltips ON).  NetTree is now compatible with the Equipment Locator and Streamside Notes features.

The tree structure display in NetTree is generated from the global DDL file.  The graphic binding information is read from the component binding database (m-bind.mdb).  NetTree allows graphic binding without use of component binder.

NetTree comes standard with the graphics generated by Streamside Solutions.  A site license for a single Metasys network can be purchased separately.
