Energy Savings and Reporting Application
(New Version 2.0 Coming in July 2009 - Supports MSEA networks)
The Energy Reporting and Savings application is a Windows application that consists of two programs: Reporting/Configuration program (Energy Reports) and the Data Logging Program (Data Pump).
Data Logging Application (Data Pump):
The data logging application will be running all of the time after the user logs into Windows. It will be responsible for polling data from Metasys for each defined load and meter and writing the data into the database. For each load it will update the current monthly runtime, energy usage, cost, and savings for the loads. For each meter it will update the current consumption for the month.
The automatic polling interval will be daily at midnight. A manual poll can be started manually at any time. Data can be retrieved from Metalink/PMI or MSEA networks.
Energy Reporting/Configuration Application:
The reporting/configuration application allows the user to add, edit, delete and view loads and meters for the system, configure & maintain the database, Metasys setup, and other general configuration details.
This application allows the user to easily view and change details about each load and meter and perform all of the reporting on the data.
