I use a laptop with a Cingular card for wireless connectivity.  It is cumbersome. I am looking for a PDA or smartphone able to run JRE on its browser. I have 6 NAE sites and I am on the road a lot and need to support my staff.

I am able to run a remote desktop client on a Treo that enables me to use a desktop for access to my NAE's - very slow.  Johnson has a bluetooth solutionat the site if you are close to a node on the bus  - not very convenient.

Nokia claims their 9300i can support jar files.   I am looking for  a vendor that can provide a solution being adevice that provides phone, web access pda function and JAVA support for NAE operations.

No I am not aware of a PDA that can support the JCI java requirements.

If your needs to connect to MSEA for limited viewing and commanding points, a custom PDA solution using web services could be done.
