I compared all the files (java files .jre and others) on NAE with files on computer UI(user interface) and simulation UI and ADS UI...they are identical (even the date of creation is the same), so the problem should be SVG viewer, which takes about 3Mb space on disc (don't know about RAM requrements)...but, if it was so simple, it allready would be embedded in NAE...
Maybe the problem, as you (brussell) said, is limited resources of NAE, but I'll try to install SVG viewer on next NAE and will see if it works...
