Good-day,

Well am at the point which I need to launch a word doc or htm file. I tried your soluation but can't get it to work.

What I have is a word document on a shared drive. I need to launch this document when we click on the button. I've also tried to convert the word document into a html file and let explorer open it up. What I can't figure out is how to open a file from a drive?

This is what I have - http://10.10.10.10/folder/word.html

 

any ideas

FYI

I found out that you can install the documents in the ADS server and by using a http://IP_Address/metasysiii/folder_name/word.doc

that this opens up using explorer.
